Ricardo G. Felix, obtained his law degree from the University of Sonora. He earned a triple master's degree in International Law, Human Rights, and International Collaboration from the European Institute Campus Stellae of International Law in Santiago de Compostela, Spain; a diploma in Family Law from the University of El Valle de Mexico; a diploma in Administration and Fundraising for Non-profit organizations, from Indiana University at the Center of Philanthropy and he has attended the University of Arizona, taken several courses in English for academic purposes, most recently attained a Business Certificate by the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona.



Mr. Felix is the CEO and founder of G & A Advisors and Consultorio Juridico Familiar, a law firm office specialized in international law, established in the State of Sonora in 2003, with representations in the United States and the Mexican states of Baja California, Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, Coahuila, San Luis Potosí, Sonora, Sinaloa, Jalisco, Mexico City, Puebla, Querétaro, Campeche and Michoacán. His experience includes legal services in family law, corporate & commercial law, business development, international business planning, and adoptions in different States of the Mexican Republic. He also provides legal assistance to U.S. and Mexican organizations and companies with an interest in international expansion. Ricardo Felix was previously Director of International Adoptions and Intergovernmental Liaison for International Child Foundation, an Adoption Agency where he still provides consultation services. He currently works with several adoption agencies in the United States as an External Advisor on issues related to adoptions in Mexico. He is also the legal representative in Mexico of the Canadian adoption agency Sunrise Family Services Society, which is based in Vancouver, BC.


Mr. Felix has worked and collaborated with several State DIF systems of the Mexican Republic, training staff and legal department agencies. The DIF system matters in social welfare, adoption, loss of parental authority, rights to house family and children in institutions. He collaborates with law firms in the United States and Mexico, by providing international legal counsel in civil matters, family, immigration and business.


Ricardo Felix has been a recognized speaker before the Ministry of Health, State DIF systems, judicial systems, international bodies, adoption agencies and organizations on several issues of social assistance, domestic violence, child abuse, adoption, management and fundraising resources for Non-profit Organizations e.g.,NGO’s. He has for over 10 years been an expert on The Hague Convention on adoption guiding principles, implementation procedures, and emerging issues. This earned him the privilege of being accepted to the prestigious Academy of The Hague for International Private Law, in the Netherlands, due to his experience in adoptions. His upcoming book will talk about the result of the institutionalization of children and practical-legal aspects on adoptions between the United States and Mexico. The book is still being edited.

Mr. Felix has been a recognized presenter and speaker on International Business Issues as how to successfully establish and develop a company in countries other than the United States and Mexico. He has represented, advised, and assisted American companies from various sectors to enter the competitive Mexican market and helping Mexicans citizens and Mexican companies entering, settling, and starting operations in the competitive U.S. market.
